2020 was a strange year, but the Laserworks keeps making things for people to enjoy! I took many custom orders to make things for weddings (yes, even in 2020), birthdays, and Holiday gifts. Dozens of new designs for the cork coasters have also been made - most of those selling at the outdoor craft show (third Saturday of the month, in the cool time of the year in Phoneix) along with other designs on wood and polycarbonate plastic.

Bamboo cutting boards have been a recent substrate which people love - artful and functional, with the design on one side and the cutting surface on the other.
One of the most durable signs that I make are done on sautillo tile. The laser transforms the clay in the tile into a fused black line with will not wash off. Many outdoor house number signs have been made as well as company logo designs with this durable material.
Quite a slection of extremely durable labels have been made with colored anodized aluminum sheets. The laser removes the top layer of color, revealing the shiny metal below. These tags and signs should last decades, even outdoors and make great nametags and luggage tags.
While cork coasters are a favorite of mine to make, my selection of thin birch plywood, as well as thicker pieces of hardwoods, are a close second.
If a design will fit on an 8 1/2 x 11 inch piece of paper, my laser engraver can turn it into something which will last a long time. Larger designs can be made in pieces and assembled to produce wonderful things.
